Professional Affiliation When you become a member of the Alliance of Professional Artists, you join a national organization whose purpose is to provide a platform for support, education and advocacy in the art industry. Being a member of the APA gives you a sense of camaraderie with other artists and industry professionals.
Insurance As a member of the APA, you will be able to purchase health and life insurances at discounted rates. Members will also receive prescription drug discounts.

These benefits pay indemnity-based benefits (reimbursement) for a covered injury or sickness. This is not traditional comprehensive health insurance and should not be considered a substitute for comprehensive health insurance or major medical coverage. Benefits and coverage’s may vary by state.
This product is a limited benefit medical plan, providing a range of basic accident and sickness benefits for individuals who might otherwise be excluded from employer-sponsored coverage.
Designed to provide first dollar accident and sickness coverage for the most common healthcare needs (Dr. office visits, lab & x-ray, emergency room, accidents & Rx).
These benefits pay members a fixed amount for covered expenses according to the program benefit schedule. Business Enhancement Tools The APA provides members with a variety of programs and tools to help meet the needs of artists. Business tools Members will have access to several business tools such as sample resumes, sample artist statements, copyright information, sample consignment contracts, sample Web sites, sample postcards and more.
Member Directory The APA online member directory provides contact information on every APA member.
Networking All APA members will be able to network together by utilizing the member directory or one of the community sites, ArtScuttlebutt.com or CrafterCircle.com.
